In our Christian marriage coaching, my wife Cindy and I bring over 23 years of marriage and more than 20 years of pastoral ministry leadership to the table. We understand firsthand the joys and pressures of marriage and family life. As parents of two young adults—Austin, 21, and Jaelyn, 18—we’ve navigated these seasons ourselves.

Meeting online via Google Meet for our sessions, we walk with couples who are feeling stuck—whether it’s in their connection, finances, parenting, or even in the hardest moments like divorce or infidelity. Rooted in biblical wisdom, prayer, and the lessons we’ve learned, we’re here to help you rediscover hope, unity, and God’s design for your marriage.

Christian Counseling

focuses on healing past wounds, treating emotional distress, and resolving mental health issues using psychological techniques integrated with biblical principles.

Christian Coaching

is future-oriented, focusing on setting goals, fostering growth, and taking action to fulfill one’s potential based on biblical wisdom.

Key Differences: Focus (Past vs. Future)

Counselors look at "where have you been?" to find healing.

Coaches ask "where is God leading?" and how to take action for growth.

Purpose (Healing vs. Growth)

Counseling resolves dysfunction or deep-seated issues

Coaching helps functioning people improve and achieve specific goals.

Approach

Counseling is often deeper, investigating the mind, will, heart and emotions.

Coaching is more collaborative, often focusing on practical, actionable steps to take moving forward.

Licensure

Christian Counselors are often licensed mental health professionals regulated by states, whereas Christian Coaches are usually certified through private organizations.
